Strategic Commander - Strategic Commander is a turn-based strategy game set in space. It's the same kind of game as Milton Bradley's "Risk" or MicroProse's "Civilization". Your objective is to eliminate each opponent by taking over their home planet while defending your own. You build facilities on your planet to manufacture ships and mine gold in order to venture out onto new planets. When your ships land on a planet that no one owns, it's yours. Otherwise, there's a battle and the last player standing gets the planet. You can invest your gold in building more manufacturing facilities or in valuable research which is used to build faster, more powerful ships. You can play against the computer, against other people, or against a combination of computer and human players.
